Do I need to bring my own photography/content creation equipment?
Yes. Please bring your own photography and content creation equipment, as Studio East does not provide this. Our space is designed as a versatile, multi-use space, ideal for capturing content, but it is not equipped as a dedicated photography or content studio.

Is there a minimum hire time?
For all one-off bookings we have a minimum hire requirement of 2 hours.

However, if you are hiring Studio East on a long-term basis for regular weekly classes, you may hire for a minimum of 1 hour.

Do I need to pay in full when booking?
For one-off bookings, 50% payment is required to confirm your booking, with the remaining 50% due no less than 7 days prior to your booking. If you make the booking within 7 days prior to the hire date, payment will be required in full.

For long-term, regular weekly hire, payment is required in full on a month by month basis to secure your regular time slots.

Please note - no booking is confirmed until payment is received and you have returned your signed hire T&C's document to us.

How many mats can you accomodate in the studio for wellness classes?
We recommend Studio East comfortably fits approximately 8-10 yoga/pilates mats with sufficient space around them, however the space could accomodate up to 12-14 if you are happy to place the mats closer together. We recommend viewing the space to judge what is suitable for your class or event/workshop. Please note, mats are not provided, you or your event guests must bring their own.

Can I come and view Studio East before booking?
Yes, absolutely! We recommend you do, to ensure the studio is right for you. Just pop us an email and we'll arrange a time for you to drop by.

How big is Studio East?
Studio East is a 400 sq ft / 36 sq metre venue.

Is there parking available?
Yes. There is a free onsite car park!

Is Studio East accessible?
Studio East is located on the first floor via stair access only, so it is regrettably unsuitable for those who require wheelchair access or are unable to use the stairs.

Are there kitchen facilities?
A small, basic kitchenette is available on the ground floor. It includes a microwave, sink, kettle and small fridge. If you are requiring cutlery, cups, plates etc for your event you will need to provide these yourself and bring them with you.

Are there toilet facilities available?
Yes, there are toilets available downstairs with a wheelchair accessible toilet and also baby changing facilitles.

Do I need to include set-up and clearing up time in my hire time?
Yes. For all one-off bookings your hire time must facilitate any additional time you require to use the studio to set-up your event/workshop/group class/photoshoot etc. You must also factor in time required to clear up, pack away your activity and to return the studio to its original for state. For example, if you are hiring the studio for a 2 hour event and require 30 minutes to set up and 30 minutes to pack away/clear up, you will need to hire the studio for 3 hours. You must ensure you leave the studio promptly at the end time of your hire, otherwise you may disrupt the booking following on your from yours and may incur additional usage charges.

Do I have to book just 2 hours, a half-day or full-day or can I book any amount of time?
Yes, you are welcome to hire Studio East for any amount of hours you need, for example, you may hire for 3 hours. Our minimum hire requirement is 2 hours for one-off bookings.
